Before the Idaho legislature voted to take a two-week pause due to a COVID-19 outbreak in the statehouse, some lawmakers tried to squeeze in a bill that would prohibit schools from teaching students about sexist and racist topics, something difficult to do when talking about Idaho's and the United States' history. Once they are back in session, Idaho Democrats hope to focus on education issues before they sine die.
